Special UW video light with gas discharge torch.

Due to the special design of this luminaire, it is neutral under water. (Large housing tube) The gas discharge burner has a power consumption of only 35 W, but the light output exceeds that of a 100 w HLX burner! After approx. 30 sec. burning time, this luminaire reaches its full brightness and reaches a colour temperature of 4500K. A special video front screen made of borosilicate glass guarantees a homogeneous, wide video light. An integrated microprocessor enables the retrieval of all lamp-specific data (charging and discharging cycles, product data, service life, temperature queries, etc.).

In the back of the lamp, the remaining burning time is displayed in minutes.
The lamp can be attached to the housing with a light arm or worn as a hand lamp.
Since the gas discharge burners generate only a small amount of heat, this lamp can also be used above water.
Due to the modular design, it is also possible to equip the lamp with halogen burners (supplied) (as a “backup”).

In addition, the battery can be changed so quickly.

This is interesting if there is no reloading option.

Small daylight lamp.
HID lighting technology produces a colour temperature of approx. 6500 K, i.e. a light spectrum similar to daylight.

Compared to conventional halogen lamps, the amount of light is about 50 W. Due to the minimum power consumption of the burner, the smallest batteries can be used with a burning time of more than one hour. The Mini Day Arc only requires 2 Sony NP-550 or 2 NP-FM50 batteries, the same batteries that also use camcorders.
