The Amphibico “GENESIS” series of compact prosumer HD housings introduces its next creation for the camera. The Sony NEX-FS700U Super 35 camcorder is a professional large format video camera.

On a par with the FS 100, this compact, highly modular camera system uses a similarly sized Super 35 CMOS sensor.

As a significant improvement over previous models, the FS700 underwater housing offers a native resolution of 4K.

Unlike smaller broadcast-style sensors or the larger “full-frame” sensors of some DSLRs, the NEX-FS700 imaging area is equivalent to that of the standard Hollywood film cameras.

The large sensor offers a host of other benefits, including improved control over depth of field, higher sensitivity in low light, less image noise, and exceptional dynamic range.

The 10x slow-motion slowdown at Full HD and 40x slowdown at lower resolutions gives you creative possibilities that are impressive. Until now, it was only possible with special devices that were only available for the highest demands.

The housing is made with the same solid aluminum construction in high quality as the previous Pro Line models.

No compromises have been made to create the new “GENESIS” line from Amphibico. Overall ergonomics and balance, make the compact design with the integrated electronic and ergonomic grip system extremely user-friendly.

The on-board electronics allow easy and complete access to all important camcorder functions, allowing users to create the best possible underwater HD videos.
