The new Amphibico Genesis case for the Sony FS100U NXCAM HD PRO
is made of the same high-quality and solid aluminium as its predecessors of the PRO series.
Here, too, the emphasis was placed on proven ergonomics, user-efficiency, compact design and integrated electronic handles.
Size, weight and balancing have been optimally implemented. The electronics allow to conveniently adjust all the necessary key functions to give the user the best possible recording.
Even the new recording medium Ninja (10bit Uncompressed to Apple ProRes® Field Recorder, Monitor and Playback Device) can be integrated. This non-linear video section transfers the raw material to the hard drive in any sequence of reorders and ensures the fastest and highest quality processing of the recording.
Main features of the Amphibico Genesis case:
Massive construction
Seawater-resistant aluminium milled from one block. Black anodizes as corrosion protection and is provided with a powder coating of polyurethane and tuff stone. Final coating in clear coat for high durability in rough sea water.
Full camcorder control
Full access to the camcorder underwater. The Genesis offers a variety of functions that are needed underwater.
With the two electronic handles and the Control Panel menu, this case gives full access to the camcorder when filming underwater.
Comfortable and easy filming thanks to the sharp, large and bright 3.5 Sony ‘XtraFine ™ LCD/viewfinder. This is located on the optical axis and with the 3.5-inch LCD panel type XtraFine allows easier, more intuitive design.
Lens bayonet
The Sony FS100U camcorder is equipped with a Super 35mm E-Mount interchangeable lens system, allowing you to access an extensive range of lenses (Sony Zeiss, Tamron, Sigma and Cosina).
Ninja SPLASH PRO (optional accessories)
Professionals are now able to go underwater with eerily higher bitrates and colors (4:2:2). 10 bit uncompressed to the Apple ProRes Field Recorder can also be used as a monitor. The Ninja Splash is synchronized via the Lanc jack and starts and stops at the same time as recording. This allows a much higher absorption quality to be produced under water.
